Mother’s Day

May is the month that many of us celebrate our mother figures. Some of us will have brunch with our family on Mother’s Day, others will barbecue or share in their own family traditions. There are other people who will bring flowers to the cemetery on Mother’s Day or reflect on their life with the special woman/women who raised them. Being a mother myself, I know that when you hold your baby for the first time it’s as if you captured a piece of heaven in your arms. Your life now revolves around protecting and loving your child. For those of you who are missing your mother/grandmother who raised you, please know that you enriched their lives. When I bring mother figures through in readings they say, “You’re why I lived longer at the end” or “My life wouldn’t have meant nearly as much without you”. They still fawn over and brag about their children to those around them, even after their physical death. On Mother’s Day, if you want to do something to honor the woman who wiped your tears and held you when the world was against you, how about a nice tribute that smacks of their personality? I have some suggestions for you that I will share in this podcast.

On Friday May 7th, the second episode of Buried Emotions goes up on YouTube! It seemed appropriate to release it Mother’s Day weekend since it involves a mother and her deceased son. Her son Zack called this “his Mother’s Day gift” to his mom.
